A new invention, floating solar panels
Italian engineers have realized a floating solar power plant that tracks the sun. The system costs 20 percent less than ground-based structures. Panels could be installed over artificial waterways to make better use of wasted space. The first place of realization is Lake Colignola (Pisa) in Tuscany.
