Cuadrado drives Fiorentina to victory vs Udinese

FLORENCE, ITALY – A goal in each half from Cuadrado and Gonzalo ensured three points for Fiorentina despite Bruno Fernandes pulling one back for the visitors late on.

Fiorentina deservedly beat Udinese 2-1 at Stadio Artemio Franchi on Sunday afternoon in Serie A.

The win, combined with Parma’s victory over Napoli leave Fiorentina 9 points back of 3rd place, with 6 league matches to go, and 5 points ahead of Inter and Parma.

The win has increased Fiorentina’s grip on finishing in fourth place as they now hold a five point advantage over fifth placed Inter whereas Udinese remain in fourteenth place in Serie A.
