The Texas A&M women’s basketball team began action on its summer tour of Italy with a hard-fought, 61-57 loss to All-Star Italy on Sunday evening. Texas A&M is scheduled to play All-Star Italy again on Tuesday, Aug. 21, in Florence. Tip-off is set for 7:30 p.m. Florence time.

Fiorentina has signed Juan Cuadrado from Udinese on loan with the right to buy the Colombian midfielder at the end of the season. Cuadrado joined Udinese in 2009 and impressed during a loan spell at Lecce last season. Last week the Viola team signed Facundo Roncaglia.
Florence will host the Four football helmets
After Luino in 2010 and Bologna in 2011, Florence will host the 2012 edition of the tournament Four football helmets.
