Ponte Vecchio International Approach Championship 2012 will happen again, and for the second consecutive year, Teams will face each other following 2011 appreciated format. 8 International Champions will be involved, from 14th to 16th December, representing Team UK and Team International.

One of Italian cycling’s all-time greats, Fiorenzo Magni, died Friday aged 91. Nicknamed the Lion of Flanders, Magnia was the ‘third man’ of Italian cycling’s heroic era, vying with Fausto Coppi and Gino Bartali.

Stevan Jovetic’s early goal earned Fiorentina victory at home to Bologna in Serie A. The win lifted Fiorentina to the verge of the European places with Bologna still in mid-table. Golf, The Mugello Tuscany Open was canceled
The Mugello Tuscany Open golf on the calendar in the Challenge Tour and Pro Tour Pilsner Urquell scheduled October 18 to 21 in the golf course of UNA Poggio dei Medici Golf Club, was canceled.
