FLORENCE, ITALY – Nataleperfile is the traditional Christmas Market to benefit the organization File (Fondazione Italiana di Leniterapia), now in its 13th year of service. It is a fundraising event, a social event, and also an opportunity to buy gifts for your loved ones.
Located in Palazzo Corsini (lungarno Corsini 8, Florence), the market will begin on December 18th at 10:00am and ends on Sunday December 20th at 7:00pm. There is no entry fee. A catered buffet of lunch will be available for purchase in the Ninfeo of the Palazzo Corsini.
The funds raised over these three days contribute to supporting the work of assisting terminally ill persons and their families, serving the greater area of Florence.
There will be many exhibitors present, vendors and artisans, who donate part of their earnings to File through the sale of their products. These include a variety of items such as clothing for men, women and children, designer products and linens for the home, modern art objects, jewelry, perfume, cosmetic products, food vendors, books, toys, and many other items.
Always present during the three days are the Panettoneperfile and the Pandoroperfile, special traditional Christmas cakes. In addition, do not miss the possibility of participating in the prestigious “Lotteriaperfile”. The items for this raffle have all been donated by international and Italian companies. Raffle tickets can be purchased beginning in November at the FILE headquarters located in Via San Niccolo, #1.
File is a non-profit organization started in 2002 providing free services throughout the Florence and Prato areas. Services include medical, physical therapy, and psychological assistance to individuals who are seriously ill and their families.
