FLORENCE, ITALY – The weather alert issued by Protezione civile last week is confirmed. Snow, ice and wind will hit the city of Florence and Tuscany region from tomorrow, Friday, February 10, until next Tuesday, February 14.
The “blizzard” is coming during the night. The Siberian wind never reached Tuscany in the last 11 years.
According to the weather forecast in the province of Florence there will be snow from Friday midnight up to all day of Saturday; widespread snow on the Apennines and abundant snow even in Mugello hills, some snow is expected in the city of Florence and close areas. Strong winds from Friday up to 12 noon of Saturday; ice alert until 12 noon of Tuesday, February 14.
