The visits to the Vasari Corridor (Corridoio vasariano) have been very successful. After one week of reservations, they are sold out until April 26. For these reasons, reservations are currently suspended. Cristina Acidini, superintendent of the State Museums of Florence said: “We invite visitors to stop and wait for further notice”.

Back to ancient splendour the “Annunciation”
It was returned to its original splendor the Annunciation by Alessio Baldovinetti, Renaissance painting in tempera on panel created by the Florentine master in 1457. The work, currently housed in the Uffizi Gallery in Florence, Italy, had never been subjected to maintenance. The painting was heavily obscured by sediments and deposits, with dark colors.
