Corridoio vasariano sold out, no more reservations

Cristina AcidiniThe visits to the Vasari Corridor (Corridoio vasariano) have been very successful. After one week of reservations, they are sold out until April 26. For these reasons, reservations are currently suspended.

Cristina Acidini, superintendent of the State Museums of Florence said: “We invite visitors to stop and wait for further notice”. The visits started last January 17 (read our article).   It is not clear if and when reservations will begin again.

The Vasari Corridor (Florence, Italy) is the elevated enclosed passageway, which connects the Palazzo Vecchio with the Palazzo Pitti. Beginning on the south side of the Palazzo Vecchio, it then joins the Uffizi Gallery and leaves on its south side, crossing the Lungarno dei Archibusieri and then following the north bank of the River Arno until it crosses the Ponte Vecchio.
