The reopening of the Uffizi Galleries’ museums

FLORENCE, ITALY – The schedule of the reopenings of the most important Florentine’s museums in compliance with the current anti-Covid rules. From April 27 the Boboli Gardens have reopened to the public from 8.15am to 6.30pm. In this first period, admission will only be possible via the main entrance of Pitti Palace.

From May 4 also the Uffizi and the Pitti Palace reopen. The Uffizi are open from Tuesday to Sunday, from 8.15am to 6.50pm. Pitti Palace (Palatine Gallery, Gallery of Modern Art, Treasury of the Grand Dukes) are open from 1.30pm to 6.50pm.

For access on Saturdays and public holidays, reservations must be made at least one day in advance, in compliance with the Decree-Law no. 52 of 22.04.2021.

Holders of the Uffizi Galleries Passepartout tickets (Passepartout. Annual Subscription and Passepartout 5days) retain the right of priority access also on Saturdays and public holidays. The Passepartout 5days requires a reservation only for the Uffizi, which must be the first museum to be visited, by showing up at Door 3 of the Uffizi 15 minutes before the reservation time.

Admission to the museums and the Gardens is possible if body temperature, which is measured at the entrance, does not exceed 37.5°C (99.5°F).  Admission is also allowed to groups with guides, equipped with wifi devices of their own, up to a maximum of 10 people distant at least 1 metre one another. It is mandatory to wear face masks. As to Saturdays, Sundays and public holidays, reservation is compulsory and is to be made at least one day in advance.
