Milan and Florence, the smartest Italian cities

FLORENCE, ITALY – Milan is the smartest Italian city for the fifth year running meaning it is the most responsive to citizens’ needs, the most inclusive and the most liveable, according to the annual ICity Rate 2018 rankings presented in Florence Wednesday.

Florence came second and Bologna third, while the top ten was completed by Trento, Bergamo, Torino, Venezia, Parma, Pisa and Reggio Emilia.
Southern cities, as usual, brought up the rear.
