FLORENCE, ITALY – The city of Florence will host an exciting international sporting event: the Final Six of the world championships of men’s volleyball in the Mandela Forum, from July 16 to 20, 2014.
In 2014, the World Volleyball League reached its 25th anniversary, and will be hosted for the sixth time in Italy. For Florence, it’s an absolute first; unlike Rome, Milan and Genoa, it has never been the chosen location for the competition.
It will be a summer that sees Florence as the capital of world volleyball, a focus for all those passionate about the sport. For the many initiatives, they will use social media, especially to spread the word.
On the official Facebook page of the World League fans will be able to post videos and photos: the best of these will receive a free pass to the event at the Mandela Forum. And what’s more, there will be online Instagram challenges as well as the flood of people collecting in the streets.
