Fashion Frames strikes back in Florence for Pitti W

FLORENCE, ITALY – A tribute to the beauty in the world, a journey across continents through their traditional hairstyles. Next  June Palazzo Gaddi, in the very center of Florence, will host the second edition of “Fashion Frames”, with a dozen of young Italian and international designers that will show their creations during a cocktail party with an art installation by Cristiano Petrucci and DJ set. The event is conceived and organized by Cristina Egger that – during next Pitti Immagine Uomo (17th-20th June 2014) – will propose in Palazzo Gaddi a journey into the world of beauty, with all its variations and contamination of style. After twenty years discovering new Italian and Dutch talents, Egger will bring them in a platform during the most important trade fair in Europe: after the success of the first edition (January 2014) “Amsterdam Fashion TV” has decided to become an official partner and launch designers especially in the markets of Northern Europe and England.

Space for music, with live performances by a DJ, and art: Cristiano Petrucci will present his sculptures made from thousands of ping pong balls that light up with LED lights . A very “breaking” choice to mark the contrast between the modernity of ping pong tables – where models and guests can have friendly matches – and the classic saloon. The event is organized in cooperation with the Chamber of Fashion Buyers. Among the new talents present at Fashion Frames there will be handbags (Clemsa), jewelry (Claudia Hamers), footwear (Duccio Venturi) and jewels (My7Ways).
