FLORENCE, ITALY – 470 collections expected, of which 177 from abroad, over 8,000 buyers out of a total of over 10,000 visitors at the last winter edition: these figures confirm Pitti Bimbo’s role as the only international reference trade fair in the childrenswear universe. The new edition will take place at the Fortezza da Basso on January 7-19 in Florence, Italy.
From the classic-elegant look of the big names at Pitti Bimbo to the creativity of the independent brands in the New View and EcoEthic sections, from the sportswear at Sport Generation to the urban couture of Super Street, from design items and accessories for the young set, to the avant-garde collections at Apartment.
An extraordinary platform for global lifestyle trends that evolves and uniquely explores the myriad links connecting fashion, art, food & design.
The new entries and reentries at this edition include important names like Avirex, Bonpoint, Carla Perretti, Cacharel, Gi’n’Gi, Herno, Jungera, Liberty London, Marc O’Polo, New Balance and Quis Quis Designed by Stefano Cavalleri.
Pitti Bimbo is also a mini-fashion week that owes its success to the numerous presentations, runway shows and cultural initiatives that accompany each edition.
The runway shows, that launch new trends and offer invaluable ideas for styling and combining clothing and accessories, are attracting increasingly bigger audiences. They are also finding new forms of expression with events and performances that involve the whole city.
