FLORENCE, ITALY – Aldo Pinchera, internationally renowned endocrinologist, is died last night in his home in Pisa. He died for heart problems.
Professor of Endocrinology and director of the first school of specialization in Endocrinology and parts of the University of Pisa was 78 years old.
Scholar of international renown in the field of endocrinology, was recognized as one of the world’s leading experts in the study and treatment of diseases of the thyroid.
Responsible for numerous research programs funded by national and international bodies coordinated by the European Union clinical trials in the post-Chernobyl childhood thyroid cancer.
