Lunch on the beach on Tuscan seaside
It’s time to cook, in Tuscan seaside: on Thursday, August 23th, there will be the 20th edition of the cooking-show “A tavola sulla spiaggia” (“Lunch on the beach”) in Forte dei Marmi. Promoted by Gianni Mercatali, the event will feature twelve contestants whose dishes will create the menu of summer 2012.
Tuscan beaches are getting better
The 2012 edition of Bandiere Blu awarded 246 beaches with the flag, which is 13 more than 2011. The beaches that received recognition in Tuscany include the area of Versilia, with Forte dei Marmi, Pietrasanta, Camaiore and Viareggio. The scores are awarded by Fee the Foundation for Environmental Education in collaboration with Enel Sole, and were awarded in Rome.
