Clinton in Florence to visit the vintage cars exhibition

bill-clinton (pd)The former president of the United States, Bill Clinton, will arrive in Florence today at 5:30 pm. He will be accommodated at Four Season hotel where he would spend the night, to fly away early in the morning. In the garden of the hotel, the marvelous Giardino Della Gherardesca, is an ongoing exhibition vintage car and it seems that the former president cared very to visit it, because it also contains its own car.

Battle of Anghiari, removed the scaffolding

Battle of Anghiari hunting (National Geographic)It returns “visible” the wall of the Salone dei Cinquecento in Palazzo Vecchio, Florence. Until yesterday, the wall was occupied by scaffolding used for the “hunt” to the lost painting by Leonardo Da Vinci, the “Battle of Anghiari.” The Ministry of Cultural Heritage has not given permission to continue the investigation funded by National Geographic and led by Professor Maurizio Seracini.

Captain Schettino claims credit for crew prize
