The 3×7k Firenze Marathon Charity Run will take place on Saturday 29 November in the Cascine park, offering residents and visitors the chance to join a non-competitive relay in support of local voluntary organisations. The event starts at 10.30 a.m. from the Visarno Racecourse and forms part of the charity programme linked to the 41st Florence Marathon.
The relay covers about 21 km and is completed by teams of three runners, each covering roughly 7 km. The format is open to a wide range of participants, from running groups to families, colleagues or informal teams. Each relay supports a non-profit organisation involved in the marathon’s charity programme, including LILT Firenze, which works in cancer prevention and assistance.
Organisers present the run as an accessible way to take part in the city’s marathon weekend while supporting community work.
