Finnair to Connect Florence with Helsinki Starting Summer 2026

Finnair will launch a new direct route from Florence to Helsinki as part of its 2026 summer schedule. The Finnish airline will operate two weekly flights, on Thursdays and Sundays, using 100-seat Embraer 190 aircraft.

The new connection will link Tuscany directly to the Finnish capital, offering travelers from Florence easier access to Northern Europe and to Finnair’s global network of long-haul destinations via Helsinki.

“With the addition of Florence and Catania, Finnair will operate flights to eight Italian cities, confirming our strong commitment and confidence in this market,” said Geoffrey Carrage, the airline’s executive. “These new routes will make it easier for passengers to discover the natural wonders of Finland.”

The Florence–Helsinki flights will be available from March 29 to October 31, 2026.
