Florence is getting ready to lace up for Corri La Vita 2025, the annual charity run and walk that brings tens of thousands of participants into the heart of the city. Registrations are now open for the event, which will take place on Sunday, September 28.

The route will start at the Parco delle Cascine and finish beneath the arches of the Loggia dei Lanzi in Piazza della Signoria, creating one of the most scenic backdrops in Europe for a sporting event.

With a minimum donation of 10 euros, participants can secure the iconic event T-shirt, once again designed by Salvatore Ferragamo, and then register through the official website www.corrilavita.it. This year’s shirt comes in “bijou blue,” a soft sugar-paper shade, packaged in fully bio-compostable material.
The visual symbol of the 2025 edition is the Basilica of Santo Spirito, illustrated by Chiara Xie wearing the event shirt—a playful yet meaningful reference to the current debate about the future of the entire complex.

Last year’s edition confirmed the extraordinary impact of the initiative: more than 38,000 T-shirts were distributed, over 15,000 people joined cultural visits across the city, and nearly 900,000 euros were raised. The funds supported leading organizations in Florence and across Italy, including the Ce.Ri.On. Centro Riabilitazione Oncologica ISPRO Lilt of Villa delle Rose in collaboration with LILT Florence, FILE – Fondazione Italiana di Leniterapia Onlus, and SenoNetwork Italia Onlus, which brings together Italian Breast Units. Together with SenoNetwork, Corri La Vita also financed the training of young specialists through ten €5,000 scholarships for healthcare staff and promoted quality control in breast cancer centers at the national level.

Corri La Vita has become far more than a sporting event. It is a day when Florentines and visitors join together for solidarity, wellness, and culture. Every euro raised supports concrete projects to assist women who have faced breast cancer, making participation not just a celebration but also a contribution to a vital cause.
