The Uffizi Galleries are set to welcome visitors with special spring openings, offering extended opportunities to explore some of the world’s most renowned artworks.
The series of openings begins on Sunday, April 20 (Easter Sunday), when all museums within the Uffizi network—including the Uffizi Gallery, Palazzo Pitti, and the Boboli Gardens—will be open with regular admission fees and hours (8:15 AM – 6:30 PM).
On Monday, April 21 (Easter Monday – Pasquetta), visitors can explore the Gallery of Statues and Paintings (excluding the Vasari Corridor) and the Boboli Gardens, again with standard hours and ticket prices (8:15 AM – 6:30 PM).
On Friday, April 25 (Italian Liberation Day), all Uffizi spaces will be open free of charge, providing an excellent opportunity to admire masterpieces without an entrance fee. Regular opening hours (8:15 AM – 6:30 PM) will apply.
The special openings continue on Thursday, May 1 (Labor Day), with all museums open at standard rates and times (8:15 AM – 6:30 PM).
Visitors should note that ticket offices will close one hour before the official closing time, so last admissions must be planned accordingly.
These extended openings offer an incredible chance to experience Florence’s artistic and cultural heritage during one of the most vibrant seasons of the year. Whether admiring Botticelli’s The Birth of Venus or strolling through the lush Boboli Gardens, art lovers and tourists alike will have ample opportunity to soak in the beauty of the Uffizi Galleries this spring.
