This holiday season, Fondazione Pistoia Musei is taking an exciting step to make its exceptional cultural heritage more accessible to a wider audience. Known as the cultural branch of Fondazione Caript, the foundation has announced an extension of the Museum Pass validity period from 30 to 60 days for tickets purchased in December 2024.
The Museum Pass, available for purchase at www.pistoiamusei.it or in the bookshops of Pistoia Musei, grants access to three of the city’s most iconic museums: Palazzo de’ Rossi | Collezioni del Novecento, Museo dell’Antico Palazzo dei Vescovi, and Museo di San Salvatore. Priced at a special rate (€10 full price; €7 reduced for eligible categories), it provides an ideal opportunity to explore the heart of Pistoia’s rich artistic landscape. Additionally, the pass makes for a thoughtful Christmas gift for culture enthusiasts.

Looking ahead, 2025 will mark the arrival of Daniel Buren, one of contemporary art’s most influential figures. A major exhibition dedicated to Buren is set to debut on March 8, 2025, at multiple venues, including Palazzo Buontalenti, Palazzo de’ Rossi, Antico Palazzo dei Vescovi, and other locations throughout the city. The event will feature exclusive works created by the French master specifically for Pistoia, further elevating the city’s artistic standing.
