FLORENCE, ITALY – The Concept Context Content exhibition opened in Florence on 7 June. It’s set up at the Limonaia of Villa Vogel, Via delle Torri in collaboration with the District 4, curated by Gabriella Diddi and Fabrizio Sorbi. The exhibition is hosted in Florence after having been presented in Siena and Lucca, as well as in Montignoso, Pistoia and Pisa.
Trained as a professional sculptor DovBer Marchette is an artist who has been working for over 50 years exploring original ideas about the creative process. Currently he works mainly on 3D assemblies of wood, painting and objects, on drawing and photography. He studied at Mass College of Art and California College of Art and taught Studio Art at the Art Institute of Boston. In addition to teaching at the university level, he has developed unique teaching methods for children and adults.
DovBer Marchette uses only 5 colors in his works, extending the tradition of the modernists of the × century
with an abstract, conceptual, informal and visionary expressionism, exploring the original idea through the creative process.
The exhibition displays about 40 paintings divided into sections, Abstracts, Portraits, Contemporary Landscapes.
Previous exhibitions have been successful due to the participation and interest of the public of all ages.
This Florentine review will host three important international artists, the international director and photographer Rossano Maniscalchi who brings the international award to the La Jolla Festival.
The sculptor Alessio Pazzini, who collaborated with Tom Otterness and the work The Door at Moma in New York, and with William Mc Elcheran and the work is to the Underground of Toronto. And with Athos Ongaro, Franco Andami, Gilbert Lebigre, Giancarlo Biagi and with Martin Scorsese for the film Kundum.
Sabine Cez Belgian sculptor who has exhibited her works in Paris, Brussels, Zurich, Pietrasanta etctra. She has been producing engravings since 2011. After learning various painting methods, she devotes herself to experimenting with freer and less formal print media.
