FLORENCE, ITALY – From its very first edition – to be staged between April 30 and May 11, 2015 – FloraFirenze promises to be a unique event, the ideal occasion and meeting place for all players in the international floriculture and horticulture scenario: producers and designers, technicians, researchers, buyers and a varied public of amateurs.
FloraFirenze was presented today in Palazzo Vecchio, Florence, by the environment commissioner of the city of Florence, Alessia Bettini.
The event’s innovative formula, the consolidated decades of experience of Euroflora designers and their close interaction with the business world make FloraFirenze the ideal place for national and international players to showcase their brands, products and services and to launch the latest innovations or present exclusive patents. For the first time, this kind of event will not be staged within the urban setting of an exhibition center, but the enchanted backdrop of Parco delle Cascine.
The aim of FloraFirenze is to favor the rediscovery and development of the Italian market, to support the floriculture, horticulture and earth product sectors, in which our country is a European leader: over 120,000 m2 of parkland just a stone’s throw from one of the world’s most stunning cities, which every year attracts over eight million visitors.
Important figures that are destined to be boosted next spring by the significant flow of contractors, international consumers with great spending capacity and gardening professionals it is anticipated FloraFirenze will attract to Tuscany, including 18 international artists who will bring to life the Land Art showcase.
