FLORENCE, ITALY – It’s called I_Dome, it is one of the main projects that the Chamber of Commerce of Florence and PromoFirenze are realizing for the six months that Italy will see protagonist at Expo 2015.
In ancient times the dome of Filippo Brunelleschi was a wonderful architectural chance. Today I_Dome wants to recover the essence of Florentine tradition: the ability to innovate. New materials and technologies that characterize the project will represent Florence and its excellence beyond the months of Expo 2015.
Inside the I_Dome a multimedia section will explain to tourists and visitors the main cultural, artistic, productive side of the city. Since May 1, 2015 I_Dome will be open for free in the Cortile Nuovo, Palazzo Vecchio, Florence. Some touch screens and 3D I_Map technology will bring visitors to explore the Italian heritage.
