FLORENCE, ITALY – More than 1,300 cultural events in Italy will be publicized on a new website developed by the Cultural Ministry to encourage tourism throughout the country during Expo Milan 2015.
The website, titled Very Bello!, was presented on Friday January 23, 2015, by Culture Minister Dario Franceschini, and will be translated from Italian into eight other languages.
“The idea is to use Expo to promote the entire country, and make it so that millions of visitors prolong their stay in our country as long as possible,” Franceschini said, adding that the website will promote Italy as “one widespread museum”. “We’re the only ones in the world who can boast such an offering,” he said.
