FLORENCE, ITALY – Weather alert in Tuscany, Italy. Saturday December 27, 2014, from 8 am to 8 pm heavy snowfalls are expected on the Apennine ridge.
The functional center of the Regione Toscana has issued a weather alert from 8 am to 8 pm on Saturday, for heavy snow on the Apennine ridge, with snow level at 500 meters .
However it is also possible light snowfalls in the close cities of Pistoia and Florence. The storm will be associated to strong winds . Regione Toscana reminds all citizens the obligation of winter equipment on vehicles.
