Bomb outside offices of Renzi’s PD in Florence

FLORENCE, ITALY – A Bomb set off outside offices of Renzi’s PD in Florence. Eplosive causes minor damage.

The bomb was set off outside the building hosting the Florence offices of Premier Matteo Renzi’s centre-left Democratic Party (PD) at 4 am on Tuesday.

No one was hurt in the explosion at around 04:00, which caused only minor damage, cracking a window and blackening part of the facade.

The bomb was a rudimentary, homemade device made of three camping gas canisters in inflammable liquid inside a plastic container. Police and firefighters rushed to the scene.
