FLORENCE, ITALY – Italy’s Firenze Convention Bureau has won 17 new international conferences to take place during the next four years.
The conferences – won in 2013 – should generate 13,700 participants, 52,700 overnight stays and an estimated economic impact of EUR14 million.
Major events won include the World Congress on the Use of Biostimulants in Agriculture ( 17-19 November 2015), the International Congress of Acoustics and Vibration (12-16 July 2015) and the 18th European Conference on Mobility Management (07-09 May 2014).
Florence will also host the ICS Continence Annual Meeting 2017 (September 2017) , which will focus on issues related to urinary incontinence and attracting 2,000 participants, plus the SRNT Nicotine and Tobacco 2017 meet, (05-12 March 2017) organised by the Society for Research on Nicotine and Tobacco with 1000 participants.
