FLORENCE, ITALY – The UCI Road World Championships taking place between the 22nd and the 29th of September are the most important sport event in Italy for this year. Fans of cycling will have the opportunity to see the different races (Road races and time trials) and assist to the endeavours of the cycling champions.
Starting from today, tickets for the UCI Road World Championships Toscana2013 can be bought from Box Office Toscana and Ticket One. More details on the kinds of tickets are available at the address www.toscana2013.it.
Galleries for spectators will be situated in the most crucial points of the UCI Road World Championships courses. These will be placed in Florence (Finish Line and Via Salviati) and in Fiesole (Via San Domenico entrance, Via Mantellini and Piazza Mino).
Two different galleries will be placed close to the finish line (bordering the Nelson Mandela Forum), in order to allow spectators to see the end of the twelve races of the Championships from an unique perspective. Cycling fans will have the possibility to choose between daily tickets and two different kinds of passes: a weekly pass or a three-day pass for the Road Races taking place from the 27th to the 29th of September.
The gallery in Via Salviati will be opened only during the last three days of the competition (27th to 29th of September). For this sector, there are no single tickets available, but only three-day passes (standing spots only) which will allow spectators to assist to the races from one of the most selective points of the course.
Three sectors will be prepared in the Fiesole area between the 27th and the 29th of September: the Via san Domenico entrance, the Via Mantellini galleries and the Piazza Mino galleries. For these areas, both daily tickets and three day passes (27th -28th -29th) to assist to the Road Races will be available. (From the Official Web Site Toscana2013.it)
