The 72nd edition will be previewing yarn collections for the 2014 spring/summer season.
The structure of the Spazio Ricerca and the Fashion at Work area, where creativity and creative expression reign, is in a state of permanent evolution. The experimental lab where trends are analyzed and launched, the Spazio Ricerca at Pitti Filati 72 – with its theme-title Festa Fiesta Fest Festival – will explore the celebratory dimension in the sense of shared experiences and well-being, to let all of us admire the best, most colorful and positive aspects of different cultures and places. It will be a discovery tour of the world’s traditional celebrations, processions, summer festivals and social phenomena as well as a relaxing and energizing pause for mind and body. The Spazio Ricerca is staged by fashion designer Angelo Figus and knitwear expert, Nicola Miller, with settings by architect Alessandro Moradei.
