
FLORENCE, ITALY – It’s time to open gates, at the Four Seasons Hotel, for a traditional pre-Christmas event. It’s the 5th edition of the “Open Day”, dedicated to raise funds per “Istituto degli Innocenti” and its activities on behalf of children. On Sunday, December 16th, from 10 to 16, all florentines and tourists are invited to pass through the gates of Parco della Gherardesca, the city’s largest private garden and since 2008 part of the Four Seasons Hotel.
To contribute actively to the initiative just a symbolic offering at least 1 euro will be donated to shelters the historic “Istituto degli Innocenti”. Children and their parents will be able to stroll through the Christmas markets this year even more numerous, taste chestnuts, sausage and polenta, sip hot chocolate, enjoy a tasty mulled wine with spices or a glass of wine.
The initiative will be the introduced by the guest, presenter and actor Flavio Insinna, a Santa Claus that will tell live the day to show “Please talk to the driver” on the air from 13 to 14 on Rai Radio 2, this year media partner.
He also returned the “Bottega dei Ragazzi”, with laboratories Animani for children and A game once upon a time for the older ones. Many other entertainment events, the magical TruccaFate with its color illuminates the faces of children, the clown tablet, Aunt Catherine with her legendary taxi and the “Society of Santa Claus.” At 12 it will perform “Little Choir Melograno”, then the launch of balloons where all children can tie their letter to Santa Claus.
