FLORENCE, ITALY – The first thing done in Italy’s Olympic shooting gold Niccolò Campriani was a visit to relatives in Emilia affected by the earthquake. The Olympic champion has made a break with her parents near Carpi (Modena) where there are some cousins of his mother, who were the first to see the medals won by the close in London.
Then Campriani returned home to Florence, Tuscany, where some neighbors has uncorked a bottle of champagne stored in the fridge for a toast to close a few days of pressure for the brilliant competitions in London.
The family Campriani was pleasantly surprised by the affection of a few neighbors is still present despite the holiday, either by printing posters already made by the municipalities of Florence, Tuscany to celebrate the Olympic champion.
