Airports, a joint venture with Florence and Pisa

Florence airport runawayFLORENCE, ITALY – To create a third airport core after Rome and Milan, probably with the future project of a joint-venture between Pisa and Florence.

This seems to be the plan of Enrico Rossi, president of the Tuscan Region, who already postponed twice the meeting with Enac (National Civil Aviation Authority) above the future of Florence-Vespucci’s runway. It seems to be sure this week after last news.

The president purchased from Monte dei Paschi di Siena the 5% of AdF shares (Airports of Florence) on Friday, just before Stock Exchange closed, spending about 5 million Euro. With this operation, the Region will have a man in the administration room of AdF.
