New flights to Paris, Madrid and Barcelona

VuelingFrom March 25 new direct flights will be enabled  between the airport of Florence Amerigo Vespucci and the cities of Paris and Madrid. The agreement between Vueling and Florence Airport was signed yesterday. Travelers will enjoy a special rate of 39.99 euros each way.

“Florence is very important in Vueling expansion plan in Italy – explains Massimo Perna, vice president of Vueling -, we are already present in 8 other Italian cities.” “The collaboration between our airport and Vueling is a source of great satisfaction,” said Biagio Marinò, managing director of Florence Airport.

The Florence-Madrid connection will operate 3 days a week (Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday) with an offer of 39,000 seats for 2012. Passengers flying to Paris Orly will have over 50,000 seats and 4 flights a week (Monday, Wednesday, Friday and Saturday).

Vueling will also provide the Florence-Barcelona, operated by Airbus 319 every day from 25 March, with nearly 90,000 seats available.

The airline has its head office in the Parc de Negocis Mas Blau II in El Prat de Llobregat, near Barcelona (Spain).
