The Superintendence for the Historical, Artistic and Ethno-anthropological Heritage and the Museums of Florence directed by Cristina Acidini, with the collaboration of Florence Museums for the organization and booking service, has decided to reopen to the public the Corridoio Vasariano, from Tuesday, January 17 until April 27 (except the week between 5 and 10 April 2012 and 24 and April 25).
Reservations will be accepted for a maximum of 5 persons at a time at the number +39055294883. For reservations Florence Museums open from Monday to Friday from 8.30 to 18.30 and on Saturday from 8.30 to 12.30. ”We must always remember that the Corridor is not born as a museum, but as a private passage reserved for the Medici family and, therefore, presents technical difficulties not easily overcome and the path to open it to a large number of people, “said Acidini.
The total cost of the tour is euro 10.50 (4.00 euros for booking required, plus a ticket to the Uffizi Gallery of 6.50 euro) except for the reductions and free of the law.
