An agreement of cooperation between the pharmaceutical company Menarini and Wuhan Eastlake Hi-tech Development Zone Committee, the third industrial park in China, located in Wuhan (Hubei) is signed yesterday.
Menarini Group has been chosen from the authorities of Wuhan like one of the three druggist companies to which the possibility will be given to make an investment in the region of Hubei.
The agreement previews to develop in the park technological-manufacturer of Wuhan Eastlake a productive plant of Menarini and a center of innovation with engagement in the research & development of new drugs; the engagement of the Menarini Group to localize to Wuhan its Chinese Headquarter; the support of the technological park Eastlake to Menarini in carrying out this investment.
“China – general manager of Menarini Domenico Simone comments – is sure a Country with great potentialities and an economy in fast evolution. Also this agreement enters to take part of our strategy of expansion towards the Asian markets, in which we have consolidated our presence with the acquisition of the Invida Group and where we preview to install itself for the first time also with a productive site as well as with research projects and Development”.
