Mayor’s appeal: do not use the car

More municipal police officers, stop to non-urgent street works, facilities for bus and parking. These are the provisions taken from the Municipality of Florence in Christmas time.

The mayor Matteo Renzi makes an appeal to citizens and tourists: “Try to limit use of cars for shopping durinf Christmas’ season and anyway respect rules of the roads. I would not want to see double parked car”.

To facilitate travel by bus ATAF has put on sale (up to January 7) a ticket-family with 6 euro may travel on bus and tram four to 24 hours. Also next week for the bus tickets can be purchased from the parking meters in Florence Parking. Do not forget the opportunity to travel on the busin the urban stretches with the train ticket.
