A record season. Over one million and two hundred thousand people visited Renai park this year, the green area west of Florence. Renai has closed the season in early November. Currently the park located in Signa is under maintenance and accommodation with a view to reopening in March.
The company which manage the park, Progetto Renai Srl, pointing now to the conclusion of the great plan of recovery: complete settlement of all areas available. ”The Renai Park – said Andrea Marzi, President of the Progetto Renai Srl – is a landmark in the region. There isn’t a space like this one in all of Tuscany. Here the admission is free, the park is fenced with good maintenance, we can offer quality, comfort and services in the middle of nature”. In the park public institutions will have also to realize a “case of expansion” of the Arno river, profit to prevent the eventual waves of flood.
