A Tuscan woman died in Key WestA woman aged 47 died in Florida, while she was in the waters of Key West, overwhelmed by a tidal wave. The victim’s name was Paola Falco, lived in Figline Valdarno (Florence). She worked in the Tuscan capital as a manager of an insurance agency. She left with her husband for a holiday in the United States. The “Sailor” by Talani lands to the Port of Miami

The Sailor by Talani in San Vincenzo, ItalyThe Port of Miami, Florida, called the Tuscan artist Giampaolo Talani to design a bronze statue of a ‘Sailor’, about 18 meters high. The statue will be placed on the point that separates the two branches of the U.S. port. The statue was chosen as a symbol of town twinning between the Port of Livorno and the Port of Miami during the celebrations for the 500 years since the death of Amerigo Vespucci.
