The Gran Premio d’Italia TIM has been announced as the winner of the 2011 IRTA Best Grand Prix award, thus securing its fifth title from the Teams’ Association since hosting a Grand Prix for the first time in 1976. Giancarlo Bigazzi has died. The florentine composer died in a hospital on Wednesday night in Viareggio. He wrote many of the greatest Italian pop hits. He was 71 years-old. Some italian hits was translated in english as Red Roses, I love you, Gloria, You can give more, Sea People, Self control and Eternity. Gloria was performed by Umberto Tozzi in the italian version and by Laura Branigan in the english version.
