Florence is set to host the tenth edition of Florence Cocktail Week from 16 to 22 April 2026, bringing a week of events focused on high-quality mixed drinks and responsible consumption.
The programme includes masterclasses, tastings, presentations and guest shifts, with Italian and international bartenders taking part in venues across the city. The initiative aims to highlight Florence’s cocktail bar scene while promoting a more conscious approach to drinking.
International guests and themed events
Among the scheduled initiatives, four events organised in collaboration with No.3 London Dry Gin will take place between 19 and 21 April in several well-known venues.
On 19 April, bartenders from The Donovan Bar in London will host a guest shift at Giacosa 1815, working alongside the local team to present cocktails combining British and Italian influences.
On 20 April, Bitter Bar Firenze will host a late-night event inspired by the “speakeasy” concept, with a guest bartender from Bologna and a programme that includes live performance elements.
The following day, 21 April, a brunch event at Caffè Rivoire will combine food and mixology, with a menu designed to pair dishes with gin-based drinks. Later the same day, a guest shift at 564 Lounge Bar – The James Suite Hotel Firenze will explore the relationship between aromas and cocktails, drawing inspiration from perfumery techniques.
A week dedicated to cocktail culture
Florence Cocktail Week has grown over the years into a recurring event in the city’s cultural and hospitality calendar, involving a wide network of bars and industry professionals.
The initiative reflects a broader trend in Italy’s food and beverage sector, where cocktail culture is increasingly linked to craftsmanship, ingredient quality and storytelling. For visitors and residents, the week offers an opportunity to explore different venues and styles, often through special menus and limited-time creations.
