FLORENCE, ITALY – Florence is hosting the Spring Plant and Flower Show (Mostra Primaverile di Piante e Fiori) with an outstanding news: a selection of plants and flowers decorates the loggia of the Uffizi Gallery.
Until May 1, 2016 indoor and outdoor plants and flowers are on display with exhibitors coming from all Italy. The main exhibit is held at the Giardino dell’Orticoltura, where it was built a recently restored antique tepidarium.
The Spring Plant and Flower Showis organized by the Tuscan Horticultural Society (Società Toscana di Orticultura), a non-profit association founded in 1854 that has always promoted shows of the most beautiful Italian plants and flowers.
The Giardino dell’Orticultura is located in via Vittorio Emanuele II, 4 (piazza Libertà area), h: 9 am – 7 pm, free entrance.
