Borsa Merci, Loggia del Grano for sale in Florence

FLORENCE, ITALY – The Chamber of Commerce of Florence informs that on February 18, 2016 there will be a public auction with only increasing bids on auction upset prices for the sale of the properties described below:

Lot 1) – Palazzo della Borsa Merci: prestigious building located in the historic quarter of Florence overlooking Piazza della Signoria (Palazzo Vecchio) and next to Ponte Vecchio made up of several real estate units, partly for commercial use, partly for management use and partly for residential use, constituting the block defined by Via Por S. Maria, Piazza del Mercato Nuovo, Via di Capaccio and Via delle Terme.

The gross commercial area covers around 5,600 sq m. The auction upset price is 60 million euros.

Lot 2) – Palazzo della Loggia del Grano: prestigious building next to Palazzo Vecchio and in front of the exit of Galleria degli Uffizi, completely restored in 2000, partly for commercial use, partly for office use and partly for residential use, located in Florence, bounded by Via Castello d’Altafronte, Via dei Neri and Piazza del Grano.

The entire property is currently used by management staff temporarily; on the due date, its original intended use, as indicated above, will be restored.

The gross commercial area covers around 3,500 sq m. The auction upset price is 18,7 million euros.

The properties may be sold jointly or separately. For the joint sale, the auction upset price is 78,7 million euros. The complete call for bids is published on the Chamber website.
