FLORENCE, ITALY – More than 128,000 readers of US magazine Condé Nast Traveller cast their votes for this year’s Readers’ Choice Awards, which were announced yesterday.
Among the results of the magazine’s 28th annual survey, Florence, Italy was voted as the best city in the world, Signite Grummet in Serengeti, Tanzania as the world’s best hotel, Disney as the best large-ship cruise line and Palawan in the Philippines as the best island.
Closer to home, readers voted Virgin America the best US airline and the Waldorf Astoria Chicago the best US hotel. Singapore Airlines was named best international airline.
