FLORENCE, ITALY – The Fiorentina transfer market struck the first results for the Serie A 2015/2015 and Europa league.
ACF Fiorentina announced that Federico Bernardeschi has signed a contract extension to keep him at the club until 30 June 2019.
Bernardeschi arrived at Fiorentina in 2004, making his way through the Viola youth academy before earning his first-team debut on 14 September 2014 against Genoa. He made ten appearances in the 2014/15 season, scoring three goals.
ACF Fiorentina also announced the signing of Moraes Junior Gilberto from Botafogo FR on a permanent transfer. Gilberto was born in Campinas in Brazil on 7 March 1993. The 22-year-old right-back made nine appearances in the current Brazilian championship and is part of the Brazil U23 setup.
