FLORENCE, ITALY – A trademark free-kick from Andrea Pirlo sent Juventus through to the quarter-finals of the Europa League after they beat Italian rivals Fiorentina 1-0 on Thursday, 2-1 on aggregate. Fiorentina is out from the Continental competition.
Pirlo’s goal arrives at 71st minute by firing home from just outside the area. That came moments after Fiorentina captain Gonzalo Rodriguez had collected a second yellow card.
