FLORENCE, ITALY – The World Roller Skating Grand Prix, the circuit of world figure skating champions, will be held in Florence on the 26th and 27th of January, the only stop in Italy. This event combines the skills of roller skating champions with the glittering world of entertainment.
On Sunday the 27th at 4:30pm, the show will be organized as a great musical on rollers, with live sung and recited parts, besides the technical and spectacular elements typical of figure skating.
All the music that will accompany the champions’ performances will be sung and played live by a band of professionals; the athletes’ rehearsals in the musical will be assessed by a jury composed of show business, journalism and TV stars and the sum of the grades obtained during the rehearsals in the first and second days will lead to the final ranking. Two completely different shows will determine the final ranking.
On Saturday the 26th at 9pm, the top champions technical competition will be on schedule. This is a great opportunity to see the world’s best 5 athletes for every discipline (single male and female, couples, dance); on Sunday the 27th at 4:30pm, the competition will be based on the musical.
Stunts, technique, speed, interpretation, elegance, a high-impact mixture that has already attracted thousands of viewers all over the world.
