Luxuria in a conference organized by SUF

Vladimir Luxuria (G. Dall'Oroto) - CCFLORENCE, ITALY – Syracuse University in Florence sponsored and organized the conference of Vladimir Luxuria, “Across gender and ocean! Discovering the UnKnown”.

SUF is known in the US for a policy in support of its LGBT members, Vladimir Luxuria will explore the new frontiers of intersexuality, of nontraditional gender identity, emphasizing as SUF policy undertakes to disseminate a culture of respect for differences, none excluded.

The conference is scheduled October, 10, 2012, at 6:30 pm at the Auditorium Al Duomo (via Cerretani, 54R), Florence, Italy.

Vladimir “Vladi” Luxuria born Wladimiro Guadagno in Foggia, Apulia (June 24, 1965) is an Italian actress, writer, politician and television host. Luxuria was a Communist Refoundation Party member of the Italian parliament, belonging to Romano Prodi’s L’Unione coalition. She was the first openly transgender member of Parliament in Europe, and the world’s second openly transgender MP after New Zealander Georgina Beyer. She lost her seat in the election of April, 2008.
