FLORENCE, ITALY – Fiorentina has signed Juan Cuadrado from Udinese on loan with the right to buy the Colombian midfielder at the end of the season. Cuadrado joined Udinese in 2009 and impressed during a loan spell at Lecce last season.
The 24-year-old Cuadrado has made nine appearances for Colombia, scoring two goals. Last week the Viola team signed Facundo Roncaglia. The Argentina right-back is considered to be a versatile character at the back, with the ability to play in the centre or the left side of the defence as well.
