FLORENCE, ITALY – A tournament dedicated to selecting wine bottles with the best quality-price ratio. Sunday, March 4th, the AC Hotel in Florence will host the 6th edition of “Righteous Wines”, organized by Guido Ricciarelli. It’s a classic counter tasting open to the public by Tuscan companies (and from other areas) selected according to recurrence patterns in reports of goodness and value by guides and magazines.
In parallel to the free tasting, from 5pm there will happen a sampling technique (the “Vinbledon”, that remind the name of the world famous tennis tournament), a single-elimination challenge, with the best wines – broken down by price ranges – that will come in the final. At the conclusion of the tournament, during the following dinner, Ricciarelli will proclaim the “Righteous Wines of this year.” (ma.ge.)
